Counter Strike Source (CSS) is another version of Counter Strike, this version is not included in the number series of counter strike e.g cs 1.6 etc...It is same as Counter strike 1.6 But it is more Qualitative and it's a high graphic game for which you will need a GAME, PCI, AGP card or what ever you call it....

PS: Please do not download it if your computer is without a gaming card...I am giving this advice because this game is of 2 gb so if you download it and if you don't have a gaming card then it will be the waste of time+bandwidth.

    i play in my friend server and it play a stupid music at the start, how can i stop the music?

    First of all..
    Thx for downloading it..

    Second thing..
    Maybe its the game sound which is runnning in background, Go to options>audio and Drag the music sound to 0...It will close ur sound...

    One more thing may be possible and i.e maybe your pc has a audio cd inserted so you have to remove that audio cd from the cd rom..

    I hope this will help you...
    plz let me knw if it is still playing that stupid music...

    it didnt work.

    This sound play every time when i log in my friend's server.

    but if still this is not working then go to your SteamApps\Counter-Strike source\cstrike\media

    There you will find n mp3 file...Delete that..

    So basically you have to ask your friend to delete/turn off that sound....as there is no possible way now...
